ATHENA ! Clay Fair is een beurs voor keramisten die de grens opzoeken tussen gebruiksvoorwerpen en sculpturale kunst. We zijn op zoek naar experimenteel en onverwacht werk dat het alledaagse overstijgt.
ATHENA ! biedt een platform aan verzamelaars, liefhebbers van ambacht en iedereen die nieuwsgierig is naar het werk van zowel lokale als internationale kunstenaars. Kom langs en ontdek een selectie van gebruiksvoorwerpen, decoratieve stukken en kunstwerken van zo’n dertig verschillende makers.
ATHENA ! Clay Fair is een project van 019, Elke Vanlerberghe (keramiekkunstenaar LERRY ceramics) en Design Museum Gent. De selectie van de deelnemers wordt gemaakt door Elke Vanlerberghe, Katrien Aerts (keramiekkunstenaar) en 019.
ATHENA ! Clay Fair is a fair for all ceramic artists that play on the edge of usable objects and sculptural artworks. We are looking for experimental and unexpected pieces that cross the border of the ordinary.
ATHENA ! offers the opportunity for collectors, craft enthusiasts and anyone willing to discover work from local and international ceramic artists. Browse and buy utensils, decorative pieces and artworks from about thirty different artists.
