019 is constantly looking for new ways to use and restructure the building at Dok-Noord: for artists, visitors and the collective. In addition to the project space, the collective experimented between 2013 and 2019 with various studios, for example: a rehearsal room, a woodworking workshop, a screen printing studio, a photography studio, an audio lab, …
Gradually it became clear that in addition to studio space, there was also a need for office space for artists with design or architectural practices. In 2019 the studio in the upper room of 019 was therefore converted into office space with 8 shared workplaces, a small kitchen and meeting room. From May 2020, half of the shared workplaces will be used by the collective, the other half by artists from Ghent.
In addition to the office spaces, 019 also has a rehearsal room with four permanent music groups.

019 is voortdurend op zoek naar nieuwe manieren om het gebouw op Dok-Noord te gebruiken en in te delen: voor kunstenaars, bezoekers en het collectief. Naast de projectruimte, experimenteerde het collectief tussen 2013 en 2019 bijvoorbeeld met diverse ateliers: een repetitieruimte, een houtwerkplaats, een zeefdrukatelier, een studio voor fotografie, een audiolab, …
Gaandeweg werd duidelijk dat er naast atelierruimte ook nood was aan bureauruimte voor kunstenaars met ontwerp- of architectuurpraktijken. In 2019 werd het atelier in de bovenruimte van 019 daarom omgebouwd tot bureauruimte met 8 gedeelde werkplekken, een kleine keuken en vergaderzaal. De helft van de gedeelde werkplekken wordt vanaf mei 2020 ingevuld door het collectief, de andere helft door kunstenaars uit Gent.
Naast de bureauruimtes beschikt 019 nog over een repetitieruimte met vier vaste muziekgroepen.
