PARKORAMA AT ‘MIRAKEL’

MIRAKEL presenteert de finale opstelling van PARKORAMA

Van 8 tot en met 16 oktober 2022 werd de Floraliënhal een open schilderstudio waar je kon langskomen met al je dromen en wensen over de toekomst van de plek. Kunstenaar Guy Slabbinck werkte er ter plaatse aan een monumentaal kunstwerk van 26 op 3 meter. Flarden van gesprekken en toekomstdromen vonden hun weg naar het schildersdoek.

Het decor voor deze artistieke interventie was Wishing Well, een cirkelvormige installatie die werd ontwikkeld door kunstcollectief 019. Wishing Well is een reizende wensput, een waterpoel die eerder diende als platform voor tentoonstellingen, performance en optredens. Voor het eerst werd de installatie geactiveerd als een open schilderstudio.

Het finale resultaat wordt vanaf 10 tot 26 november 2023 gepresenteerd in ‘MIRAKEL’ een solotentoonstelling door Guy Slabbinck in Ontsteking.

MIRAKEL presents the final display of PARKORAMA

From October 8 to 16, 2022, the Floraliënhal became an open painting studio where you could drop by with all your dreams and wishes about the future of the place. Artist Guy Slabbinck worked there on site to create a monumental work of art measuring 26 by 3 meters. Snippets of conversations and dreams of the future found their way onto the canvas.

The setting for this artistic intervention was Wishing Well, a circular installation developed by art collective 019. Wishing Well is a traveling wishing well, a watering hole that previously served as a platform for exhibitions, performance and performances. For the first time, the installation was activated as an open painting studio.

The final result will be presented from November 10 to 26, 2023 in ‘MIRAKEL’ a solo exhibition by Guy Slabbinck in Ontsteking.
